ServiceNow Developer – HRSD Specialist | Federal Government | Junior to Senior
Contractor Central is actively placing ServiceNow Developers with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) specialisation into a digital workforce transformation program within a federal government agency.
We are open to Junior, Intermediate and Senior candidates. The right level will be matched to your experience. The engagement runs for 12 months with strong extension prospects.
The Role
This is a hands-on technical delivery role embedded in an Agile team. You will design, configure and deploy HRSD solutions that improve the employee experience and streamline HR operations at enterprise scale.
What You Will Be Doing
Design, configure and deploy ServiceNow HRSD modules including Case & Knowledge Management, Employee Centre and HR Integrations
Develop and customise HR workflows, service catalogue items, playbooks and guided tours
Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow HRSD and enterprise HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or Workday
Collaborate with HR stakeholders, business analysts and architects to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, configuration guides and test artefacts
Perform unit testing, system integration testing and support UAT activities
Apply ServiceNow best practices, coding standards and platform governance frameworks
Contribute to sprint ceremonies and support deployment activities through to post-go-live hypercare
What We Are Looking For
Essential
Hands-on ServiceNow development experience (3+ years for mid and senior; project or portfolio work accepted for junior)
Demonstrated HRSD delivery across Case Management, Knowledge Management and Employee Service Centre
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer
Experience building or consuming REST/SOAP integrations within ServiceNow
Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a minimum Baseline security clearance
Desirable
ServiceNow CSA, CAD or HRSD Micro-Certification
Prior government delivery experience (federal or state)
Agile/Scrum background
