Solution Lead / Solution Architect to shape the technical direction of the International Engagement Project, guiding system integration, services architecture and design across two major work packages.
What you'll do
- Produce and review project design documentation from approach-to-market through to Acquisition, in line with the MPI Design Management Guide.
- Act as architecture SME, supporting the Project Manager and SME leads.
- Ensure the technical solution aligns with the DDG Technical Assurance Framework (TAF).
- Evaluate design options and trade-offs, and review designs against functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into system specifications alongside the Project Manager.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors on system-related products and services.
- Contribute to test and evaluation planning, and participate in interface control working groups with supporting service providers.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in architecture and solution delivery across large networks/systems.
- Strong ability to interpret complex technical trade-offs and turn them into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated experience producing system designs, HLDs, detailed designs and interface specifications.
- Minimum NV1 clearance required.
